Teambuilding drum circles

This workshop offers an introspection into the fascinating world of Flamenco. We demonstrate popular styles like Rumba, Tangos, Bulerías and Soleás amongst others while talking about their historic and cultural background.

Nowadays the “Cajon” (wooden box) is considered to be the main percussive instrument in this colourful music style. It is used to interact in a unique way with most interesting tap dancing and hand clapping. We address subjects like hand technique, improvisation and pattern applications on this unique instrument. Participants experience an inclusive, creative and collaborative platform that delivers a good grounding into this intricate and expressive art form.
