This Percussity course offers the perfect opportunity to learn popular and traditional Afro Cuban rhythms like Son, Bolero, Danzón as well as Rumba Guaguancó and Batá patterns. Furthermore, participants explore many phrasing and soloing ideas in an accessible, inclusive and creative learning environment. We also demonstrate how various instruments are applied in native and contemporary styles while addressing correct hand technique in order to develop good general musicianship.
